About the colors:  Gold  is the most commonly used and the only color that is sun-dried. The other sea moss colors are dried outside, but under tents so they aren’t bleached by the sun and their color is preserved. Gold offers all the benefits of Sea Moss that we’ve come to know and love, but has very minimal smell and taste compared to the other colors.

Purple contains powerful antioxidants called Anthocyanins, which are commonly found in blue and purple fruits or vegetables. Anthocyanins are linked to health benefits such as stronger bones, a healthier heart, lower inflammation and protection against certain types of cancers. Purple Sea Moss is more rare to find and dried in a dark room to avoid losing its unique color and benefits.
Green is high in Chlorophyll, which is widely known as the “life force” of plants and is what gives plants their natural green color. Chlorophyll is an all natural body deodorizer and detoxifier. It is also great for healing the skin and reducing bacterial growth in wounds. Green Sea Moss is more rare to find and dried in a dark room to avoid losing its unique color and benefits.

Our moss has been certified as legitimate. We can provide documentation from the Minister of Agriculture in St. Lucia for everything we import. We are grateful for our sea moss farmers responsible for bringing us such an amazing product!

Sea Moss Gel Recipe:

  • Rinse sea moss to remove any residual salt and sand.
  • Cover with water in a bowl and soak 8+ hours or overnight
  • Drain water and rinse moss again
  • Add soaked moss and equal amount of water to a blender. Blend on high speed for 3-4 minutes, adding water every 30 seconds for desired consistency. Add an optional squeeze of lemon to the blender for freshness.
  • Store gel in an air tight, glass jar in the refrigerator (for up to one month) or in a freezer container or bag (for 3 months).
  • Recommended serving is 1-2 tbsp./day, right from the jar, or add to a smoothie. For topical use, apply gel directly to skin and gently rub in. After 20-30 minutes, rinse off what has not been absorbed.
